The law as a source of Rights

The word “ law ” can be interpreted in a number of ways, including as the norms imposed by a competent authority – not just in the context of Legislative Power . Same as the law, constitutions, municipal ordinances , Executive Power decrees , Police communications and many others also qualify. We can say, then, that the law refers to norms proclaimed by the Legislative Power, exclusively. Laws dictated in both cases are called “ Sources of Rights ” and are characterized by: its reach, how many social groups it covers (from drivers to business owners), and how mandatory it is to adhere to them. They are also permanent – at least until overwritten by a new one. When the law silences some issues, fails to offer a clear definition or fails to adapt to societal changes , it is important to find other ways to reach a solution to the presented problem, which is how other sources come up as originators of new norms. There are many different types of non-profit organizations and associations fighting against animal abuse , and while there is legal base to support something such as “animal rights”, there is a Universal Declaration on Animal Welfare that prohibits the punishment of animals. However, it’s important to come to a firm international agreement regarding animal rights, especially in Spain , where a number of cases on the matter have been taken to court. In the articles mentioned in the Declaration, laws are included covering animal protection and support for organizations fighting against cruel spectacles that make use of animals, such as cock fights. The Universal Declaration on Animal Welfare was signed in 1978 , in London, and received the support of UNESCO . In both public  Law  and private law, there are many branches; all studied within the objective and subjective law, making reference to the faculties and prerogatives each individual has in a society. Mercantile Law: are the norms that regulate the activities between businesses, commercial acts and the derived legal relation. Although, these are part of the private law and act as business law, the internationalization of the commerce is leading more and more to consider it as a right of the market, that is, as part of the public law . Economic Law  is a practical specialty which seeks the well-being of people and their environment by providing quality of life with protected interests that show sustainable development. Also, by showing the key elements that improve life. This refers to environmental health as a goal to be achieved by the economic legal system. As stated on the Constitution of the Republic of Mexico, in its article 40: “every person has the right to an appropriate environment for his or her development and well-being, and every family has the right to have a house.
